What to expect:

Amber Barry inspires total body health with her relatable approaches to yoga, mindfulness, and everyday well-being. Amber partnered with Dr. Tim Nyuyen, MD of Atlanta Integrative Medical Center in 2015, in an effort to bring the healing properties of yoga to patients seeking relief from chronic pain and illness. As one of the most experienced yoga instructors in Atlanta, and the founder of Westside Yoga, she is committed to providing consistently inspiring experiences that rally her community around yoga. Her passion for yoga stems from the personal transformation she experienced when she first met her mat 18 years ago. Yoga helped Amber reclaim her life after a car crash, which left her suffering and living in severe pain. Through her practice, she was able to completely rehabilitate her body, and now lives pain-free, and is thriving. She began her teaching and coaching career in 2001, and has been an outspoken advocate of mindfulness, movement, discipline, and plant-based nutrition ever since. Amber encourages her students to step outside their comfort zones, practice yoga daily, and trust the struggles on the journey to total body health. Married for 19 years, she is the proud mother of three amazing yoginis in the making.

Crazy Healthy Kids

How do we inspire our kids to embrace nutritious foods and exercise? By teaching them the ABC’s of a Crazy Healthy Life. Amber teaches parents how to inspire their families to get healthy for good, as she speaks from the heart about her personal health struggles, and shares what she has learned in 10 years of teaching families and schools how to raise crazy healthy kids. These teachings can be compressed into a short presentation, or could be extended into several recurring, in depth workshops.

  1. Hi Amber! Sean mentioned your blog when I saw him last week – he just reminded me of it and I’m so glad. Our family believes strongly in eating what makes you feel good, which is how Martin and I ended up as vegetarians, with the boys doing the same. Eating smart makes them feel good and helps me maintain a reasonable normal. Love the pics of the girls!
